Trust Boards provide serious and necessary oversight and support to their organisations, and trustees have legal obligations to help fulfill these duties.

Full Trustees are appointed for a 3-year term with the right of rollover should you be re-elected. An Emerging Leader Trustee is appointed to serve a 1-year term as a full voting member on the Trust. The Emerging Leader is expected to fulfill the duties of a regular Trustee (see Information for New Trustees for these details).

Staff and Trustees are committed to supporting the positive development of leadership skills and knowledge in all new Trustees.  For Emerging Leader Trustees, additional training, meeting, and mentoring will be offered to ensure the Emerging Leader is prepared and supported for a successful term of service.
